FlixBus Gave Me a Useless Voucher Instead of Refunding My Canceled International Ticket
I purchased a FlixBus international ticket, but due to a visa issue, I was forced to cancel the trip. When I canceled, instead of giving me a refund, FlixBus issued a voucher—which I cannot use now or in the future because I won’t be able to take international trips anytime soon.
This is deeply unfair. I’m being denied a refund for a service I never used and won’t be able to use. I didn’t cancel by choice—it was due to a visa problem completely outside my control. Yet FlixBus refuses to return my money and hides behind their “voucher-only” policy.
To make matters worse, customer service is completely unhelpful, telling me that since this wasn’t a domestic ticket, there’s nothing they can do. This level of indifference is incredibly frustrating.
