FlixBus Didn’t Allow My Electronic Item and Forced Me to Buy New Tickets

On September 10, 2025, around 9:00 AM, we boarded a FlixBus for our trip on the Frankfurt–Dresden route with tickets numbered 3284503959. However, we were not allowed to carry an electronic item — a coffee machine — and were told that FlixBus’s website states that electronic devices are not permitted. We later checked the terms and conditions on the website and realized this rule was mentioned there. We were not allowed to take the item either inside the bus or in the luggage compartment and were simply told it was prohibited, without any further explanation.

Because of this, we had to cancel our tickets and buy new ones at a much higher price. We had originally paid about ₺2,800 for the two canceled tickets, while the new tickets cost ₺3,000 per person — a total of ₺6,000 — resulting in a significant financial loss. I request that at least the amount paid for the canceled tickets be refunded to us.
