I am writing to report a mistaken UPI transfer of ₹800 that I made today at around 2:56 PM using Fampay. I intended to send ₹800 to my friend’s number, but while entering the mobile number, I accidentally typed the wrong Jio number and completed the transfer.
Immediately after sending the money, I realized the mistake. I called the number right away and requested that the person return the amount, but they ended the call and then switched off their phone. Since then, I have not been able to contact them or recover the money on my own.
I contacted Fampay support about this issue, but I have not received any clear response or tracking information regarding my refund request.
I kindly request that this incorrect transfer be investigated and that my ₹800 be refunded to my account as soon as possible, as the payment was clearly sent to an unintended recipient due to a typing error.
