FaceAI Charged Me for a Yearly Subscription Instead of Weekly Plan
On April 23, 2026, I wanted to purchase a subscription through the FaceAI application on my iPhone in order to create photos. Based on the membership options shown on the screen, I believed that I would only be paying a weekly fee, so I approved the transaction. However, immediately after confirming the purchase, I realized that an annual subscription fee had been charged from my account instead. Approximately $40 was withdrawn for a one-year subscription, and I do not have the financial means to afford this amount.
As soon as I noticed the purchase, I immediately submitted a refund request and tried to start the process both by contacting customer service and through the system itself. Despite this, I am still stuck in a waiting process, and because my urgent cancellation and refund request has not been resolved quickly, I am experiencing serious inconvenience and frustration.
I purchased this subscription by mistake because I believed it was a weekly plan, and I requested cancellation and a refund immediately afterward. I demand that the annual amount charged be refunded as soon as possible and that my subscription be canceled immediately. Otherwise, I will be forced to file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
