I've Waited 45 Days for Expedia to Refund My Duplicate Hotel Booking
I'm experiencing a problem with my reservation dated 05/15/2026, because two separate reservations appear for the same day and the same guests at Palais Büyükada hotel, booked through Expedia. Since it appears as if the same people stayed at the hotel on the same day under two bookings, one of these reservations needed to be canceled and the overcharged amount refunded.
For the reservation with booking ID 1727609305, no action has been taken for about 45 days, and the refund has not reached me. Although the transaction was processed through Hotels and Agora, the entire process took place through Expedia.
As a customer, I haven't been able to reach Expedia directly, and the hotel states that it has been in contact with Expedia for a long time but still hasn't gotten any result. I am requesting that the excess charge be refunded to me as soon as possible, with the relevant reservation canceled.
