Expedia Overcharged Me for Flight Change Within 24 Hours

I purchased my Amsterdam–Rome flight ticket dated November 10, 2025 through Expedia’s website under reservation number 73288164209630. At the time of purchase, I chose a higher-tier package that clearly stated a €70 per person change fee. After realizing that I had mistakenly selected an evening flight, I contacted Expedia’s online customer service within 24 hours to request a change.

However, I was told that I would need to pay an extremely high fee of €408 to change my ticket. Even though Expedia’s own website clearly states a €70 change fee, I believe it is unfair to demand a fee far exceeding that amount. Customer service did not offer any solution or alternative. I have all payment receipts and transaction records available.

As a result of this situation, I was unfairly affected and my vacation plans were seriously disrupted. My expectation from Expedia is that my ticket change be processed at the €70 per person fee stated on the website. I request that the excessive fee demand be corrected and that my grievance be resolved.
