Europcar Dubai Charged Extra for No Reason – Requesting Refund for Unauthorized Payments

I rented a black Hyundai Elantra from Europcar Dubai (reservation number 737750380) via Booking.com, from September 22, 2024, to September 29, 2024. I picked up and returned the car with license plate 887** from Sharjah Airport. I recorded a video both when I collected and returned the car, proving its condition. Despite never smoking in the car, they falsely accused me of smoking and forced me to pay 367.50 AED. They assured me I could file a complaint later, and they took the car back.

However, when I returned to Turkey, I noticed unauthorized charges on my card: 685.10 AED on October 1, 2024, and 430.95 AED on October 4, 2024. I never had an accident, and I took great care of the car. I have video evidence of the car’s condition both during pickup and return. In total, 1483.55 AED was wrongly charged to my card. I am requesting a full refund for these unauthorized payments. I’m deeply disappointed with Europcar Dubai’s service and expect this issue to be resolved immediately.
