I Can’t Upload ID Photo to Verify My Etsy Shop Due to a System Error
Hello, I’m trying to set up my shop on Etsy, but I’m completely stuck at the identity verification step. The platform is asking me to take a photo of my ID, but it won’t let me upload it. This isn’t a phone issue—I’ve restarted the device, checked for updates, and confirmed that my camera works perfectly fine.
The problem seems to be on Etsy’s side, and no matter what I try, I keep getting stuck on the same screen. I’ve searched for solutions but haven’t found any clear guidance, and Etsy’s support hasn’t provided help either. This is incredibly frustrating, especially when all I want to do is legitimately launch my shop.
Etsy, please fix this. I’m asking for immediate support to complete the verification process and open my store. Many new sellers may be facing this same issue, and you need to provide a working solution or at least an alternative method to verify ID. I’m losing valuable time and opportunity because of this system glitch.
