EA Sports FC 26 Drops to 5 FPS After a Few Minutes

Two days ago I purchased EA Sports FC 26 through Epic Games and have been launching it via EA Play. Everything starts normally when I first enter the game, but after a short while it begins stuttering severely for no apparent reason, with the FPS dropping to around 5. My computer runs Windows 11 Pro with an i5 11400H processor and an RTX 3050 Ti graphics card — I experience no performance or connectivity issues in any other games or applications.
I found a temporary fix on my own: by pressing Windows + R, typing %localappdata%, and deleting the EA Sports FC 26 folder, the stuttering and freezing completely disappear when I relaunch the game. However, every single time I exit the game, the same problem returns on the next launch — meaning I have to repeat this process every time I want to play.
Having to go through this workaround repeatedly for a game I just purchased is genuinely frustrating. I am requesting that this performance and file-related issue in EA Sports FC 26 — purchased through Epic Games and launched via EA Play — be permanently resolved through a proper game update or technical fix that eliminates the stuttering and freezing once and for all.
