Enterprise Alamo Zurich Charges Unjustified $1,242 Fee for Alleged Door Scratch

On July 10 at 1:30 PM, I rented a vehicle from the Enterprise Alamo Zurich Airport office and returned it on July 16 at 1:30 PM. My reservation number is 397470979. First, they failed to give me the vehicle specified in my contract. The replacement vehicle they provided had a broken air conditioner, so they hastily handed over a third car instead.

Throughout my usage, I experienced no accidents or damage, and the attendant noted no issues upon vehicle return. However, after returning the car, I learned that a damage fee of $1,242 was charged under the claim that there was a scratch on the vehicle. The report later sent to me indicated a scratch on the rear door, but this damage did not occur while the car was in my possession.

When I called the Enterprise Turkey office regarding the issue, they stated that because it concerned the Zurich location, they could not assist and would not deal with the matter. I refuse to accept such a high amount being demanded for a scratch that was not my responsibility, as well as the complete refusal to handle the claim.

I demand that the Enterprise Alamo Zurich Airport office cancel this unfair damage report and fully refund or reverse the $1,242 charged or pending on my credit card.
