Google eFootball Charge on Ziraat Bank Card Unauthorized Transaction
On my Ziraat Bank card, a transaction that I did not approve was made today at around 23:37 for ₺99.99 with the description “Google eFootball 2024 London GB.” I do not play any games, and there is no paid or free game installed on my phone, yet this amount was charged to my card. The phone was in my possession at the time of the transaction and I did not enter any password, SMS code, or confirmation for this purchase. I only became aware of the transaction when I received the SMS from my bank. Immediately after seeing the SMS, I called the bank and had my card cancelled so that no further unauthorized transactions could be made. While additional security steps such as SMS codes are requested even for the transactions I personally initiate, I am extremely concerned and unsettled that a third party could make a purchase like this without my knowledge or approval. I want to prevent both myself and other users from being harmed by similar incidents. I respectfully request that the unauthorized transaction of ₺99.99 be fully refunded to my card and that a detailed security investigation be carried out regarding this transaction, including how this purchase could be completed without my explicit confirmation and how such situations will be prevented in the future.
