eDreams Keeps Charging Me After I Canceled My Subscription
Approximately one year ago, I purchased a flight ticket through eDreams. During the booking process, I was enrolled in a subscription without my knowledge or explicit consent as a result of certain prompts and redirects on the website. After discovering this, I canceled the subscription and removed my card details from the system. Despite these actions, eDreams has continued attempting to charge me approximately $8–$9 every month since April.
I am being charged for a service I have never used or benefited from. On top of that, there is no proper communication channel, and I cannot reach a customer service representative who can address my concerns. I cannot get through by phone, no one responds to my inquiries, and attempts to charge my card continue even though I canceled the subscription. Most recently, I received an SMS from Garanti BBVA stating that a $8 transaction in the name of TR eDreams could not be authorized because my card, ending in 4010, had insufficient available credit. This message confirmed that eDreams is still attempting to collect payments.
I demand that all attempts to charge me for this subscription, which I never authorized and have never used, stop immediately. I also request that my account and card details be permanently deleted from eDreams' systems and that the $8 charge attempted this month not be collected under any circumstances. If any unauthorized payments have already been collected from my card, I demand a full refund of those amounts as well.
