Economy Bookings Refused My Rental in Milan Over License Claim and Denied Refund
With reservation code B41181138, the car I rented in Milan through Economy Bookings was not delivered, based on the claim that my driver’s license was not an international license. I requested a refund for a service I never received, but they informed me that this would not be possible. However, when we asked Sixt, they clearly stated that renting a car with a Turkish driver’s license would not be a problem and that we could rent a vehicle from them.
Do traffic laws change from company to company? There is no way to reason with them. In addition, we have many friends who have rented and driven cars in Milan using a Turkish driver’s license without any issues. Because of this arbitrary practice and the refusal to refund our payment, we were treated unfairly and suffered financial loss due to this company.
