I'm a fan of EA Sports Cricket and miss playing it. Why hasn't EA Sports made a new cricket game in so long?

There are a few reasons why there hasn't been a new EA Sports Cricket game in a long time:

• Cricket has a lot of passionate fans, but most of them live in India, Pakistan, Australia, and the UK. This makes it a niche market compared to sports like soccer or basketball which are popular all over the world. Due to their low popularity, AAA sports games may not be worth the high costs of making them, so EA Sports will likely focus on more profitable projects.

• Because EA isn't making games anymore, other companies have stepped in with games like "Cricket 22" and "Big Cricket." There may not be as much polish or official licensing in these games as there is in EA's games, but cricket fans can still enjoy them.

• It doesn't look like there will be a new EA Sports Cricket game any time soon, but there is always a small chance that the series will return if the cricket market grows a lot or if licensing issues are fixed. Fans can still play cricket games, though, since there are other options available for now.
