I purchased an EA Sports game but haven't played it much and no longer want it. How can I ask for a refund?

You can get your money back through EA's Great Game Guarantee if you bought an EA Sports game but haven't played it much and no longer want it. If you buy an eligible EA full game download on the EA app for Windows or Origin for Mac, you can return it and get your money back in full. If you want a refund, you have 24 hours from the first launch of the game, 14 days from the date you bought it, or 14 days from the release date if you pre-ordered it, whichever comes first. When an EA game first comes out, you have 30 days to play it. If you have technical problems that stop you from doing so, you can get your money back within 72 hours of starting the game for the first time.

You could also get a refund because that's what the law says you can do.
