I Can’t Play Online Friend Matches on FC24 Due to EA Connect Status Error

I’m trying to play an online friendly match with my friend in FC24, but I keep getting an error that says, “Your EA Connect status is linked to your EA App status.” Even though I’m clearly online, I appear offline on my friend’s screen. I can’t send or receive match invites.

This issue just started today—everything was working fine before. Oddly enough, I have no problems playing on FC25, so the issue seems to be specific to FC24.

EA, please fix this connectivity problem. It’s frustrating not to be able to use a basic feature like online matchmaking in a game I paid for. I expect a quick resolution so I can play with my friends again.
