Dyson Sent Me a Faulty Refurbished Unit Instead of Replacing My V15 Absolute
My Dyson V15 Absolute vacuum cleaner started having an issue where it would stop working during use. After speaking with customer service, they decided to replace the main body. I sent the faulty product to the service center, including the tube, which also had an issue. However, the problem with the tube was not fixed, and they even caused deformation on some parts of it before sending it back. As for the main body, they did not replace it with a brand-new one—instead, they repaired another faulty product and sent it to me as if it were new. I could tell it wasn’t new because the rubber part of the main body was dusty, and the main screen had clearly been removed and not properly reattached. It felt like they replaced my product with a non-original part. When I received the service report before the product arrived, I was already suspicious—why would a brand-new product require cleaning, as the report stated? Once I received it, I tried attaching the dustbin, and now it won’t even come off. Would this happen with a real brand-new product? I haven’t used the vacuum since it came back from service just so the issue can be clearly seen. Everything about this is a problem. If I had known I’d face issues like this, I wouldn’t have even considered their products. I paid thousands of lira for this vacuum. I’m clearly a victim here and demand that a brand-new unit be sent to me immediately. If not, I will take legal action for being misled.
