Dyson Fails to Correct Flawed Invoice After Repeated Requests
I recently made a purchase of 15 items from Dyson's online store and requested a corporate invoice upon placing the order. After a month and a half of waiting, I inquired about the status of my invoice, and they finally sent it via email. However, to my dismay, the invoice was an individual invoice, and instead of the company's tax number, they had entered '11111111111' in the tax identification field. This rendered the invoice unusable for my corporate purposes.
I immediately contacted the call center to resolve the issue, but to no avail. Their response was that they could not cancel and reissue the invoice due to the 7-day deadline. This explanation baffled me, as I had only received the incorrect invoice a month after placing the order. How could I possibly object to an invoice that I had not even received within the 7-day timeframe?
A month later, a new invoice was generated at my request. However, the lack of professionalism and disregard for my concerns remained evident. The call center representative I spoke to today simply stated, "There's nothing I can do. I cannot escalate this matter any further." This response is unacceptable and highlights the company's negligence in handling customer issues.
