DistroKid Has Not Assigned My Spotify Artist URI After Releasing My Songs
On June 12, I uploaded 11 songs through DistroKid and requested that they be released under my artist name, “Ş**.”** Although the songs are already available on Spotify and can be streamed, my Spotify Artist URI has still not been assigned. As a result, I am unable to properly manage my artist profile or my releases.
The scheduled release date of June 15 was not honored, so I experienced an initial delay in the release. Even after several more days have passed, my artist URI and track URIs have still not been created. I have been contacting DistroKid support every day, but I am only told to wait. I have not been informed whether a support ticket has been opened, whether the issue has been escalated to the technical team, or whether any concrete action has been taken.
Considering that DistroKid is a distributor recommended by Spotify, I find this lack of support and solution-oriented communication unacceptable. I request a clear explanation of what is causing this issue and ask that my Spotify Artist URI and track URIs be assigned and activated as soon as possible. I also request a satisfactory explanation regarding the delays and the lack of communication throughout this process.
