Discord Sent Me an Unauthorized Security Code

On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at approximately 8:20 AM, I received an SMS claiming to be from Discord containing a verification/security code with the message, “Your Discord security code is.” At the time, I was not trying to log in to Discord and had not requested any registration or other activity. This code was sent completely without my knowledge or consent.

I am concerned that my phone number may have been associated with a Discord account without my permission or that someone may be attempting to use my number. If this is the case, I do not want to be held responsible for any future activity, account creation, misuse, or security violation associated with my phone number.

I request that any account being associated with my phone number be identified and that the unauthorized use of my number be prevented. I also request that the necessary security checks be carried out and that Discord's records clearly document that any potential issue or misuse involving this activity was not authorized by me. If necessary, I ask that all account login attempts and account associations involving my phone number be blocked.
