Cosweirdos Sweatshirt Fades and Loses Sequins After Minimal Use

Earlier this year, I purchased a sweatshirt from Cosweirdos through its website for approximately $52. Despite wearing the product only a few times and following the care instructions properly, the color began to fade within a short period of time, and the sequins on the sweatshirt started falling off. The product is now almost unwearable.
When I contacted Cosweirdos and provided photographs showing the condition of the product, they told me that 8–9 months had passed since my order and that, under their distance sales agreement, they could only process such requests within one month, or up to two months as a goodwill gesture. They therefore claimed that I was no longer entitled to a return or replacement. However, the defect is clearly related to the quality and manufacturing of the product, and this should not have happened under normal use and proper care. Instead of taking responsibility for the defective product, the company chose to rely solely on the amount of time that had passed since the purchase.
I do not believe I should be left at a disadvantage because of a defect that was not caused by any fault or misuse on my part. I request that this defective sweatshirt be replaced or, if possible, that the full purchase price be refunded. I expect Cosweirdos to take responsibility for the defective product and resolve my grievance appropriately.
