Colgate Dr. Rabbit Kids Toothpaste Was Missing Its Cap and Leaked

On June 17, 2026, I purchased Colgate Dr. Rabbit 2+ children's toothpaste for my child from Gizem Gross Market in Karabük. When I purchased the product, there were no dents, tears, signs of opening, or anything else that would have suggested the package had been tampered with.
That same evening, when we opened the product for the first time, we discovered that the toothpaste cap was missing and that the toothpaste had leaked into the box. We were extremely surprised and, because we could not be sure that the product was safe, we did not feel comfortable using it.
My 3-year-old son wanted to use the toothpaste, so this situation also upset him and caused him to cry. We were seriously disappointed to encounter this issue with a brand we had specifically trusted for our child.
I do not believe the retailer was at fault in this situation, as it would not be practical for stores to open and inspect every product individually. For this reason, I believe the problem originated with the product itself. I ask Colgate to investigate the incident and conduct the necessary quality-control checks.
I have the purchase receipt and photos of the product and can provide them upon request. I would appreciate having this issue resolved and receiving a clear explanation from Colgate regarding what happened.
