Chery Tiggo 7 Engine Oil Specification Dispute and Warranty Protection Request

I am the owner of a Chery Tiggo 7 and my first periodic maintenance at 15,000 km is approaching. Before going to the service, I contacted two authorized services close to me in Istanbul, Mezcar and Çetaş, to clarify in advance which engine oil would be used on my vehicle. I clearly stated that I do not want Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 A5 to be used in my vehicle, because this is a high SAPS (high ash) oil and, as stated by many existing users, it causes lifter noise and engine problems after the oil change. I also stated that this oil does not comply with the manufacturer’s own specifications. For my vehicle, I request that engine oil with ACEA C2, C3, C5 or C6 low SAPS (low ash) specifications, in line with the manufacturer’s standards, be used during periodic maintenance. Despite this, the authorized services I spoke to by phone refused my request and stated that they would continue to use the same high SAPS oil, and that if a problem occurs after the oil change, they would only consider part replacement under warranty. I find it unacceptable that, despite the known complaints from other users and the clear incompatibility with the manufacturer’s oil specifications, the same oil is insistently used and customers are directed towards possible engine faults and part replacements. I think this practice both poses a risk of deliberate damage to the engine and creates an unnecessary cost in favor of the service through part changes. I request that Chery urgently intervene in this matter, ensure that engine oil meeting the manufacturer’s ACEA C2/C3/C5/C6 low SAPS standards is used in Tiggo 7 vehicles during periodic maintenance, and inform authorized services in writing accordingly. I would also like a written assurance that my vehicle will not be filled with incompatible oil during maintenance and that I will not face any loss of rights in terms of warranty.
