I recently booked a last-minute flight to Paris using CheapoAir, and boy, did it turn out to be anything but cheap! thought I’d snagged a great deal, hoping to save a few bucks on a spontaneous trip. Imagine my shock when I boarded the plane, struck up a conversation with the family sitting next to me, and discovered they paid way less for their tickets than I did. Talk about feeling ripped off! I was sorely mistaken, using CheapoAir didn’t help me catch a break on the price, but it seems instead of a budget-friendly fare, I ended up paying through the nose. Next time, I'll think twice before trusting those "cheap" airfare websites. Lesson learned: just because it says "cheap" doesn't mean it actually is.
