I Face a Double Tab Bug When Starting New Chats on ChatGPT Chrome App

When I use the ChatGPT desktop app through the Chrome browser, for the past week, every time I try to start a new chat, two separate tabs (chat windows) open automatically instead of one. This issue keeps happening repeatedly and negatively affects my user experience. I believe that a modern AI application like this shouldn’t have such simple yet frustrating software bugs.

I request that this problem be identified and fixed as soon as possible.
