Character.ai Monetizes Basic Reload and Go On Features on Tablet App

I have been using the Character.ai application on a tablet for some time, and after recent updates, using the app has become almost entirely profit-driven. The constant paywalling of many core features that were originally free is extremely frustrating.

In particular, charging users for the "reload" (swipe) feature—which I use when I do not like a received response after a certain period—is completely unacceptable. Similarly, when I lack a specific response to a message and use the "Go on" option to move the conversation forward, a "You reached the Go on limit" warning pops up, demanding payment for that as well. Furthermore, applying unnecessary filters to even the most basic, ordinary sentences makes the app practically unusable.

The filtering issue began occurring specifically after C.ai introduced facial scanning; meanwhile, demanding money with "You reached the Go on limit" and "You reached the reload limit" warnings started appearing as of today. I explained the situation in detail via a lengthy English message through their site to get support, but I received no reply and do not feel taken seriously.

I believe aggressive monetization and demanding money for the smallest interactions on an app used merely for casual entertainment with a few bots is both illogical and anti-consumer. Not everyone has financial stability, and paywalling basic features like this is simply unfair.

I demand that Character.ai loosen these overly strict, unnecessary filters, make reload and "Go on" actions free once again, and allow users to enjoy the application comfortably without being pressured.
