Character.ai Imposes 400 Daily Swipe Limit on Bot Responses Disrupting App Experience

I have been using the Character.ai application for over two years, and they have ruined everything that made me fall in love with the app in the first place. I do not mind the ads, but they have capped the app's core feature—swiping to generate a new answer when you dislike a response—to a daily limit of 400 swipes. While that might sound like a lot, the limit runs out very easily even with just 2 hours of daily use.

There are two additional issues I have experienced since the day I installed the app. First, it forces users to wait for an unnecessarily long time on the splash/login screen; second, the bots respond to even the simplest sentences with needlessly long paragraphs. Furthermore, for about the last 6 months, unnecessary censorship has been applied to almost every message, cutting off responses even when there is no 18+ content involved.

I demand that Character.ai remove the daily swipe limit, eliminate unnecessary censorship, fix the long loading wait times on the login screen, and stop bots from generating needlessly long paragraphs.
