I signed up for a Pro membership on the CapCut app under the impression that I would receive a 30-day free trial as advertised. The interface clearly stated that I could try the Pro version free for 30 days, which is why I proceeded with the registration. However, the moment I activated the subscription, ₺1299 was immediately withdrawn from my account.
Even more frustrating, I canceled the subscription on the very same day, yet no refund was issued. When I reached out, I was told the payment is non-refundable — despite the fact that the promise of a 30-day trial was misleading and unclear. This feels like intentional miscommunication and manipulation of users who think they’re signing up for a free trial but are instead charged immediately without warning.
CapCut should not be allowed to operate with such unclear and deceptive billing practices. I demand a full refund of my ₺1299 and urge the company to be transparent about what is free and what is not. If it’s not actually free for 30 days, don’t advertise it that way.
