Unable to Use Azal Airlines Ticket Due to Passport Issue

On September 29, 2024, I purchased a ticket for a Batumi-Tbilisi flight through Azal Airlines using my Turkish credit card. As a Turkish citizen, I was surprised to find out just before the flight that a passport was required, even though the system never prompted me for this information during the booking process. The airline allowed me to purchase the ticket without requesting passport details or providing any warning about this requirement. Now, I can’t use the ticket, and the airline won’t allow me to change or hold the ticket for future use. It’s frustrating to lose the money I paid without even being able to fly. Azal Airlines, there should be a solution to this, and you need to provide better communication about such important requirements.
