Atasun Refused Equal Replacement for Broken Sunglasses Under Warranty
On February 20, 2024, I purchased a Polaroid pld 4155/S/X 807 5517145 model (Product code: gu036546) sunglasses from the Atasun store in Ümraniye Canpark Mall. My sunglasses broke, and since they are still under warranty, I applied to the store requesting a refund or replacement. After receiving a message from Atasun stating that my refund process had been approved, I went to the store on November 11, 2025. However, I was told that the same sunglasses were not in stock and that I could only choose a product worth ₺2000, even though I originally paid ₺1699. It is not reasonable for the value of my sunglasses to have increased by only ₺300 in 1.5 years. While the current market price of my sunglasses is around ₺4000, I was treated unfairly. The store representative even directed me toward cheap brands that were not comparable and did not assist me in finding an equivalent replacement. I did not expect this approach from a major company like Atasun. I request that the same model be provided, and if that is not possible, a replacement with an equivalent product that reflects its current value. I kindly ask that my grievance be resolved.
