Atasun Optik Defined Incorrect Lenses for My Daughter, Her Vision Was Distorted

On May 20, 2024, we purchased prescription lenses for my 8-year-old daughter from the Atasun Optik Forum Bornova Store. The frame, bought previously from the same store, was registered in their system, which allowed them to use the existing eye measurements. The glasses were prepared and picked up by us four days later, tailored according to these records. At the time of collection, my daughter immediately noticed that her vision was distorted, and the ground appeared tilted. The staff dismissed our concerns, suggesting she would adapt to the new glasses. Ten days later, after revisiting the store and undergoing another supposed check, we were assured once more that the glasses were fine and matched the system's specifications. Returning a week after that, it was evident there was a misalignment affecting my daughter's vision, but again, our concerns were dismissed. Following advice from her doctor, we consulted with an independent optician, who detected an issue with the lens focus within minutes. To confirm the error, we visited another doctor, who also identified and documented a problem with the lens' focal center. It was only after we confronted the staff at Atasun more assertively that they acknowledged the mistake, admitting the lenses were incorrectly cut and offering to replace them immediately. This entire ordeal lasted a month. Now, we are left to ponder whether we should regret the distress and potential harm caused to my daughter, the time wasted, or the money spent due to what was described as a "human error" by the company. They merely apologized and accepted such errors as occasional occurrences. This experience has left us deeply disappointed with a company that prides itself on precision. We hope for a satisfactory response from them regarding this matter.

"This afternoon, I was called by Atasu Optic customer service. They informed me that they would conduct a detailed examination of the issue and assist me. I told them that I wanted a frame replacement, and they said the request would be resolved within 15-21 days. I am looking forward to the good news."
