Asics Volleyball Shoes Tore After 2 Uses – Denied Warranty Claim
On February 5, 2025, I purchased a volleyball shoe from Asics for my daughter. This shoe is specifically designed for indoor use, and she only wore it twice on an indoor volleyball court. Despite such minimal use, the toe area of one shoe started coming apart.
I sent the shoes in for inspection, expecting Asics to stand behind their product, but to my shock, they rejected my claim, citing user error. How can a brand-new shoe, worn just twice indoors, be blamed on the user? This is unacceptable, and I refuse to let this issue go unresolved.
I will be escalating this matter to Consumer Arbitration Authorities. Asics needs to take responsibility and either replace or refund the defective product.
Hello, Ms. Ozge from customer relations called again and informed me that they want to re-examine the shoes. I delivered them to the courier for examination today. I hope it concludes in a way that is worth the time lost.
