Asics Kids’ Volleyball Shoes Wore Out Before Warranty Ended and Got Rejected for Return
My 10-year-old daughter wears Asics shoes for her volleyball training at an indoor gym. She loved her pair, which we bought specifically for her practices. But unfortunately, the shoes started to wear out way too quickly. Before the warranty period even ended, the shoes were already torn and worn down both inside and out.
We took them back to the Sportive store at Antalya Erasta Mall. The staff there were helpful and agreed to send the shoes to Asics for evaluation. Trusting the brand, we didn’t hesitate to buy our daughter another new pair that same day, assuming a reputable company like Asics would stand by its product.
But soon after, we received a shocking rejection message via phone. Despite the shoe being damaged under warranty, Asics refused to take responsibility. For a brand selling shoes at this price point, this kind of response is incredibly disappointing. We expected better. We demand a reconsideration of this decision and a proper solution to this issue. Our trust in the brand has been seriously shaken.
Even if the warranty period has expired, I have to write this—there is no shoe as poor quality as this. I reviewed the other complaints again, and there are so many shoes torn at the exact same spot. How is this possible? We expect a reasonable explanation; the same complaints, the same point of wear, the same tears and holes... This brand, which is said to be the best volleyball shoe and is sold at high prices, is a disgrace... I will never buy it again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately, it was totally disappointing.
