Unauthorized Withdrawals Are Being Made From My Apple Account
I am writing regarding unauthorized purchases made through my Apple ID on the Turkey App Store. On 1 May, I noticed that a total of ₺10,000 TL had been spent without my permission. These transactions were carried out within approximately 15 days and I did not approve or initiate any of them. The payments were taken from my bank card that is registered to my Apple ID. As soon as I realized the situation, I contacted Apple support, however my request was rejected and I was informed that a refund would not be made. My bank is currently investigating these transactions, but I believe that Apple also has responsibility for the security and control of purchases made via the account. I request that all unauthorized transactions totaling ₺10,000 made through my Apple ID be examined in detail and that the full amount be refunded to me. I also expect information on how such a situation could occur and what additional security measures can be applied to prevent this from happening again.
In the conversations I had with Apple support, I was told that we can only dispute these transactions twice. Both of my disputes ended negatively, and now I'm left with a loss of about ₺10,000 taken from my account. My only hope is the outcome of the spending dispute I filed with Garanti Bank.
