It's comforting to know that you have options when your iPad experiences minor software issues or becomes unresponsive. If you follow the instructions in this guide, we hope you’ll be able to fix your iPad and get it working like new again:
• A simple fix for minor software issues is to restart your iPad.
• Force restart your iPad if a regular restart doesn't work. Hold the Power and Volume Down buttons for 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
• Check Your Screen Protector: Screen protectors can affect touch screen functionality. Remove the screen protector to check if it's the problem.
• Clean Your Screen: Dirty screens cause touch screen issues. Try cleaning your screen with a soft, damp cloth to see if it helps.
• Water Damage: If your iPad was wet, the screen may be damaged. To get professional help with water damage, visit an Apple Store or authorized Apple service provider.
• Make sure your iPad has the latest iPadOS. Apple frequently updates software to fix bugs and improve performance. For updates, open Settings, select General, tap Software Update, and tap Download and Install.
