Alibaba Refuses to Cancel Order and Issue a Full Refund

On August 28, 2026, we placed order number 313291810001026292 through Alibaba.com. The products in this order are manufactured by the supplier itself, and we developed serious concerns regarding the CE certificates and testing processes associated with these products, which is why we later decided to cancel the order. We believe that the products may not meet the required standards and that the CE certificates may have been issued by a laboratory that does not have the necessary qualifications or authority to test these products.

Despite our request to cancel the order and receive a full refund for the amount we paid based on all of these concerns, Alibaba continues to push the order forward and pressure us with statements implying that we are required to accept the products. Although the products have not yet been shipped, both the system and the written communications are being handled as if the shipment will proceed and we will be obligated to accept the products.

The products are expected to arrive at Adnan Menderes Airport via FedEx, and we will make a truthful customs declaration together with the available documentation. Based on the current documents, we believe there is a high possibility that these products may not clear customs. Nevertheless, we anticipate that we could suffer significant financial losses due to the product cost, customs duties, and other related expenses. Despite all our warnings and the risks we have documented with supporting evidence, Alibaba appears to be acting based on its own discretion and in a manner that favors the seller rather than operating a genuinely transparent buyer protection and payment assurance process.

Under these circumstances, we request that the order be completely canceled and that the full amount we paid be refunded. We also request that Alibaba apply its payment assurance and buyer protection process in a genuinely transparent and impartial manner and review the process to prevent other buyers in similar situations from experiencing the same difficulties. If necessary, we are prepared to provide all correspondence with Alibaba, screenshots, and other relevant logs as evidence.
