Air Wick Air Freshener Overheated and Melted Plug

We had been away from home for two days. When we returned, we were hit with an overwhelming burnt perfume smell. I was shocked to discover that the Air Wick plug-in air freshener had overheated so badly that it caused the paint on the wall to blister and even melted the plastic around the outlet. I looked at my husband and said, “What if we hadn’t come back in time?” We were lucky—this could have easily led to a fire.
I still have five more refills at home, and there’s another device plugged into the bathroom right now. But after this terrifying experience, how can I trust these products again? I’m afraid to use the rest.
Air Wick, this is a serious safety issue. I demand an immediate investigation, a proper explanation, and a recall if necessary. My family's safety was at risk, and you need to take full responsibility. Respond urgently—this cannot be brushed aside.
