If you requested a return and Afterpay hasn’t updated the refund, you can try to speed up the process like this:

• Check in the app whether the merchant has already confirmed the return
• Review your payment plan to see if any adjustment or balance update appears
• Confirm with your bank whether there is a pending refund in progress
• Take screenshots of the current status and the date you requested the refund

Keep in mind that Afterpay usually depends on the merchant processing the refund first.

Contact Afterpay through the app:

• Go to My Orders → Help / Support
• Select the relevant purchase
• Provide the return date and attach proof from the merchant

Request that they:

• Confirm whether the merchant has officially notified the refund
