Unauthorized iyzico Charges Trigger Bank Card Cancellations

1

On August 20 and August 21, 2026, I received text messages from my bank warning me of attempted charges of $12 from my virtual card on two consecutive days, listed as “iyzico/2co.com.” Since my virtual card had no available balance, the charges did not go through. However, I was extremely disturbed by these attempts because I had neither authorized nor been aware of them.

I have previously made purchases from companies that use iyzico’s payment infrastructure. However, I do not have an account registered directly with iyzico, nor do I have any ongoing membership or subscription under that name. Therefore, I do not understand how iyzico/2co.com obtained or used my card details or why these charge attempts were made.

When I contacted my bank after receiving the messages, the customer service representative immediately recommended canceling all my cards for security reasons. With my approval, the bank canceled all my cards and informed me that the replacements would be delivered within five business days. Having to cancel all my cards because of these security concerns caused significant inconvenience and wasted my time.

I demand that iyzico investigate these unauthorized charge attempts appearing under the name 2co, provide a clear written explanation identifying the company or transaction through which my card details were used, and explain exactly how its systems allowed such unauthorized attempts to occur. If these transactions are taking place without my knowledge or outside my control, I want iyzico to understand that it is failing to adequately protect the security of loyal customers and that this puts its customers at risk. I expect a clear explanation of all the security measures taken in response to this incident and appropriate action to prevent similar attempts from happening again.
