Zurich Insurance Is Not Compensating Me For My Loss

I purchased a premium travel health insurance policy from Zurich Insurance for my trip, which included coverage for damage to baggage. During my Antalya–Prague flight with SunExpress on 21 August, my suitcase was seriously damaged. Despite this, I had to continue my trip and return from Berlin to Antalya on 27 August by carrying and using this broken suitcase the entire way, which caused me significant inconvenience and hardship. After the trip, I submitted my claim to Zurich Insurance together with the photos of the damaged suitcase and the documents I obtained from the airline, including the Property Irregularity Report and my boarding passes. Even though the damage is clearly covered by the policy and I have already provided the necessary documentation to prove the incident, Zurich Insurance is refusing to compensate me. Instead, they are insisting on additional documents that contain personal information, which I cannot and do not wish to share beyond what is already necessary. I consider Zurich Insurance’s approach to be unfair and contrary to the spirit of the premium coverage I purchased. I request full compensation for the material damage to my suitcase and also compensation for the non-pecuniary damages I suffered due to having to travel for days with a broken suitcase and the distress this caused me. I kindly ask that my existing documents and photos be accepted as sufficient proof, that my claim be promptly paid without any further unreasonable document requests, and that this situation be handled in a way that restores my trust.
