Video Removal and False Claims About Copyright on YouTube

I am a content creator on YouTube and I am writing to complain about the recent removal of four of my videos due to false copyright claims.

On March 13, 2024, I received a notification from YouTube stating that four of my videos had been removed due to copyright claims. The notification also included a message from YouTube stating that they had removed the videos on my behalf.

I was very surprised and upset by this notification, as I had not received any prior warnings about copyright issues with my videos. I had also been careful to only use content that I was either the copyright holder of or that I had permission to use.

I immediately investigated the copyright claims and found that they were all false. The copyright holders had not actually filed any claims against my videos, and YouTube had removed them without any justification.

I contacted YouTube support and explained the situation. I provided them with evidence that the copyright claims were false and requested that the videos be reinstated.

However, YouTube refused to reinstate my videos. They claimed that they had followed their policies and procedures and that they were not responsible for the false copyright claims.

I am very disappointed and frustrated by YouTube's handling of this situation. They have unfairly removed my videos and have refused to take any responsibility for their mistake.

I am requesting that YouTube immediately reinstate my videos.
