Yemeksepeti Breakfast Order Delayed and Arrived Inedible
I placed an order on Yemeksepeti at 10:16 AM, with the restaurant’s stated delivery time being 5-20 minutes. Despite the restaurant preparing and handing my order to the courier promptly, the delivery didn’t reach me until 10:55 AM. As you can guess from the timing, this was a breakfast order containing items meant to be consumed hot.
When the courier arrived, I pointed out the severe delay and mentioned that the food was likely no longer edible. The courier’s response was dismissive: “I delivered five other orders before coming to you; take this up with Yemeksepeti.” Frustrated, I reached out to Yemeksepeti’s live support, explaining that the food had become rubbery and inedible from sitting too long. Instead of resolving the issue, they offered a coupon for my next order. This response is unacceptable—I don’t want a coupon forcing me to order from you again after this poor experience.
I deserve a full refund for the ruined meal, not a token gesture. Telling me to discard the food adds insult to injury. I won’t stay silent about this; I will pursue my rights until this issue is resolved appropriately.
