Yandex Go Double Charge

On the evening of March 26, 2026, I requested a taxi via the Yandex Go application for a trip from Ankara Farabi Street to Dikmen 844 Street. When I arrived at my destination, the fare was automatically paid through the app, and I did not receive any warning that there was a problem with the payment. Approximately one hour later, I received a notification in the Yandex Go application stating that a payment was pending. Assuming the initial payment had not gone through, I approved the payment once again. Afterwards, when I received a second notification from my bank that my credit card had been charged, I checked my card transactions and saw that I had been charged twice for the same trip in the amount of ₺323. I contacted Yandex Go support and they asked me for the authorization numbers of the transactions. I obtained the approved authorization numbers for both payments from my bank and shared them with Yandex. Then they requested my credit card statement, which I also provided in full. Despite this, Yandex continues to insist that only one payment was made, and my double charge issue has not been resolved since March 26, 2026. My bank, on the other hand, states that the issue must be resolved with Yandex, leaving me between the two institutions. I request an urgent refund of the second, incorrect charge for this ride and a clear written explanation as to why this double charge occurred and was not corrected despite the documents I submitted.
