Yandex Go Charged More Than the Fare Shown in the App
On October 8, 2026, at around 11:19 a.m., I took a taxi through the Yandex Go app from Fener Mahallesi to Antalya Bus Terminal. The vehicle was a yellow Dacia Logan, and the driver was identified as S******* S****. At the time I accepted the ride, the app showed a total fare of $10.
At the end of the trip, I saw that the taxi meter showed approximately $16, and I was asked to pay the full amount. When I pointed out that the fare shown in the app was $10, I was then told, “Then it will be $15.” Despite the significant difference between the price displayed in the app and the amount shown on the taxi meter, I was given no explanation as to why the discount or fixed fare displayed in the app was not applied.
I request that Yandex Go honor the $10 fare shown in the app and cancel and refund the excess amount I was charged. I also request that Yandex Go review its system and driver communications to prevent similar discrepancies between app prices and the fares ultimately charged to passengers.
