Yandex Go Charged Despite 50% First 6 Rides Promotion
On 1 August, I booked a Yandex Go ride in Istanbul from Ataşehir to Taksim using the “get up to 50% off your first 6 rides” promotion, which was my third ride within this campaign. Despite this, at the end of the trip I was charged ₺2,259, which is roughly three times higher than what a regular ride on this route would normally cost. I immediately reported this issue to Yandex Go through the app, but no refund or satisfactory explanation has been provided so far. From my bank account statement it is clear that this unusually high total was charged for this single ride. I request a full refund of the overcharged amount for this trip and a clear explanation of why the fare with an active promo campaign was so high. I also want to warn that such misleading promo codes, especially on longer routes, seriously damage user trust.
