My Microsoft/Xbox account was compromised through an “alias swapping” method. Although the Microsoft Account Safety Team has officially confirmed that my account was accessed without my authorization under Service Request SIR22815086, my account is still not being restored to me. In the course of this process, I submitted all official invoices and billing information that clearly prove I am the rightful owner of the account. I also provided the Hardware ID of the device on which this account had been actively used for years. Despite this level of proof, I am being told that the account is “unrecoverable” due to security protocols, and I am effectively left without a solution. There is a serious security and policy problem here. Because the hacker changed the primary alias on the account, the system now treats me as a stranger, even though all historical ownership data, billing records and hardware information belong to me. Microsoft acknowledges that theft occurred, but still does not return my account to me. It is unacceptable for a global company like Microsoft to accept that an account has been stolen and then suggest that I simply “create a new account.” This approach ignores user rights and the value of long‑term digital ownership. My account contains years of Minecraft progress, purchased games and personal data, and I demand that it be restored to me immediately by verifying the consistency of my Hardware ID and invoices, instead of hiding behind rigid security scripts. I will pursue this issue until a proper solution is provided and will continue to raise awareness about this negligence and lack of protection for legitimate users on every platform I can reach.
