If you're eager to upgrade your phone with Verizon before your contract expires, here are the terms and conditions for early upgrading:
After 30 days, you can upgrade your eligible device for a new qualifying device if you've paid at least 50% of its retail price per the device payment agreement. Verizon requires that you return your eligible device in good working order without significant damage.
You must buy a new qualifying device under a new device payment agreement to upgrade early. New device offers and wireless service requirements apply.
• Account Status: You must meet Verizon's new device payment agreement eligibility requirements and have a good Verizon account.
• Device Return: If you return your eligible device to Verizon within 30 days of entering a new device payment agreement, Verizon will buy it for the remaining balance of your original agreement and settle it. You will only be responsible for the new device payment agreement and wireless service after this.
• Device Condition: Return your eligible device in working order. This means your device must power on and off, have no cracked screen, no significant Verizon-determined damage, and all password-protected security features (like Find My iPhone) turned off.
Verizon may modify or terminate the early upgrade program and its terms and conditions at any time. Verizon's sole discretion determines upgrade eligibility.
