I have been playing Valorant since 2020 on the Istanbul TR server. During the first two years, I generally encountered respectful players and a decent community. However, over the past three years, almost half of my matches have been filled with toxic behavior, including constant insults, offensive language from older players, and intentional trolling that ruins the game. These issues now occur on an almost daily basis in the majority of matches I play.
At first, I actively used the in-game reporting system, but over time, I noticed that nothing seemed to happen as a result of my reports. It feels like Riot Games is not taking any real action against disruptive players, which eventually discouraged me from reporting at all.
I have invested 5,000–6,000 TL into my account (username: y*, tag: y), and I have already experienced issues in the past, including a 14-day suspension where I had to wait for my account to be reinstated after contacting support. Unfortunately, the suggestions provided by customer service, such as running a system scan, did not resolve the situation.
As a long-time and loyal player, I am requesting that Riot Games take stronger action against toxic players by thoroughly reviewing match replays of reported cases. Players who deliberately harass others, use abusive language, or intentionally throw matches should face stricter penalties.
I believe that as someone who has invested both time and significant money into Valorant, I have the right to expect a safer, more respectful, and enjoyable gaming environment. I urge Riot Games to improve enforcement of their policies and provide better protection for players.
