I Got Unfairly Banned from Valorant After a Power Outage Disconnected Me
On Sunday evening around 7–8 PM, there was a sudden power outage in my area while I was in the middle of a Valorant match. I had been performing really well in the game, but I was suddenly disconnected because of the electricity cut—something entirely out of my control. I didn’t leave the match on purpose, nor did I manipulate anything. It’s deeply frustrating to be penalized with a long ban due to circumstances I couldn’t prevent.
This isn’t the first time this has happened either. Similar bans occurred previously when my internet went out. I’m tired of being punished with 150 or even 200-hour bans when I didn’t do anything wrong.
Riot Games, I respectfully ask you to review this system. There should be a way to distinguish between rage-quits and actual connectivity issues like outages. Please lift my ban and make this system more fair for players who face real-world interruptions.
