I Got 165-Hour Valorant Ban Just for Being AFK for 5 Minutes

I honestly can’t believe what just happened. I was AFK for literally 5 minutes, and Valorant slapped me with a 165-hour ban. Are you serious? I’ve been a loyal player for years, supporting and playing this game since the beginning, and this is the kind of treatment I get?

Sure, I stepped away for a moment, but handing out such an extreme penalty over that is completely disproportionate and irrational. It’s not like I intentionally left the match or sabotaged the game. People face connection issues, emergencies, real-life distractions—should we all be punished this harshly for being human?

This kind of over-the-top punishment is the last straw for me. I’m done. I’m deleting the game, and I will make sure to share my experience publicly so other players can see how unfair your system is. Fix your penalty system and stop alienating the very people who keep your game alive. This isn't how you treat long-term players.
